Acne - Get Rid05.31.09

John H Moore asked:

What Exactly Is Acne ?

If you suffer from acne, then all you want to do is get rid of it fast, I can almost hear you saying….”acne - get rid now!”… But, before we mention the treatments, it would be a good idea to findout exactly what acne is and who is likely to get it.

Well, acne is a very common skin disorder that many young people get in their early years. It is usually caused by inflammation of the small oil glands that surround the fine hairs on the face and chest.

Acne is the term for blocked pores which turn into pimples, blackheads and whiteheads. Acne can occur on the face, neck, chest, back and shoulders. Acne mostly affects teenagers but it can affect adults even when they are in their 40’s. Acne can be very damaging because it can lead to serious scarring after it has been got rid of.

Who Suffers From Acne ?

Almost everyone in their teens develop at least an occasional whitehead, blackhead or pimple. Most of these young people are able to manage their acne with over-the-counter treatments, but for some their acne is severe enough to require some specialist treatment.

In most cases, acne starts between the ages of ten and thirteen and usually lasts for five to ten years. It normally goes away on its own sometime in the early twenties. However, acne can persist into the late twenties or thirties or even beyond. Some people get acne for the first time as adults.

Acne affects young men and young women about equally, but there are differences. Young men are more likely than young women to have more severe, longer lasting forms of acne. Despite this fact, young men are less likely than young women to visit a dermatologist for their acne. In contrast, young women are more likely to have intermittent acne due to hormonal changes associated with their menstrual cycle and acne caused by cosmetics. These kinds of acne may afflict young women well into adulthood.

What Causes Acne, And What Are The Treatments ?

Acne is caused by overactivity of the sebaceous glands that secrete oily substances on to your skin. The surface of your skin has lots of small sebaceous glands just below the surface. These glands make sebum (a natural oil) that keeps the skin smooth and supple. Tiny pores (holes in the skin) allow the sebum to come to the surface of your skin. Hairs also grow through these pores.

The sebaceous glands of people with acne are especially sensitive to normal blood levels of a hormone called testosterone, found naturally in both men and women.

If you are prone to acne then don’t worry, help is at hand, just visit our Acne - get rid website and let the experts show you how to get rid of acne within days. Don’t delay, get help right now !

Using Home Pimple Remedies05.28.09

Orlando Gutierrez asked:

One of the best and most practical home pimple remedies is to take a vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) supplement using a dosage of no more than 1 gram a day. Vitamin B5 prevents fat secretions from traveling through your sebaceous glands and makes your pores smaller.

Make sure you consult with your doctor before putting anything inside your body because it’s possible to harm yourself by taking high doses of vitamins. You can get extra vitamin B5 in your diet by eating whole grains, meats, eggs, and several other foods.

One of the quickest home pimple remedies that’s very effective on minor pimple outbreaks is through the use regular toothpaste. Grab a Q-tip, place a little bit of toothpaste on the end, and apply gently on each pimple. Wait till they dry completely, then you’re in the clear to go to sleep. Be careful though! In the morning you may be shocked to find the pimples are disappearing!

Cleaning affected areas with regular oatmeal is also one of the most effective home remedies for pimples, especially on the face. Take a half cup of oatmeal and mix it with warm water in a cup. Rub your face with the oatmeal and water mix softly, then rinse your face with warm water.

Here’s the best of pimple remedies I’ve always counted on; and yes - I saved the best for last. Garlic acts like a topical antibiotic to combat pimples. All you have to do is take a head of garlic and while using a garlic press, put the pressed garlic into a cup. Spread it liberally on your affected areas and leave on for 15 minutes before rinsing.

By using the garlic pimple remedy you just might never have to visit a doctor for an acne problem!

Best Acne Treatments – 4 Ways to Get Rid of Acne04.15.09

Allan Lim asked:

Most people suffering from acne will probably agree that it is a very embarrassing and troublesome condition. What makes it worse is that acne appears on the face, making it almost impossible to conceal.

While there seems to be a ton of solutions for the treatment of acne, unfortunately, not all acne treatments will work for everyone. Therefore, there are really no such things as the best acne treatments.

Certain treatments will work very well for some people, while totally ineffective for others. In fact, a person can try out many different types of treatment before he or she finds a treatment that is effective.

One of the reasons why this is so is because acne is a rather complicated condition that is not totally understood. The cause of acne can be very different from one person to the other. Furthermore, there are also many different types of acne. That is the reason why there are so many acne treatments available.

Below, we will briefly discuss some ways of treating acne. A point to note is that the effectiveness of those treatments varies from person to person.

1) A change in diet and skin care routine

For some people, this can be a very effective way in controlling or eliminating their acne. A healthy, balanced diet increases the well being of a person, strengthening the immune system. This may in turn result in a healthier skin.

Generally, the face should be washed two times daily using a mild cleaning agent for the face. Do note that it is usually not a good idea to wash your face too many times in a day. Doing so can make the situation worse, resulting in irritation and even more breakout.

Unless you are specifically told to do so by a qualified professional, or have a specific reason, do not wash your face too often.

2) Using non-prescription medications

Common examples of non prescription medications include pads, strips, astringents or creams. These medications can be very effective for mild to moderate acne. Do note that it is very important to observe any possible side effects after using them.

For example, some acne creams or astringents can make the skin so dry, it is as if trading one condition for the other. If this occurs, it is best to stop using them immediately.

3) Using prescription medications

Prescription medications are usually for moderate to more severe case of acnes. If your acne condition is relative mild, e.g. having one pimples or two, then you may not need them.

4) Wait

Sometimes, waiting may be a good option. For some people, the acne will simply disappear over time. This may work for people with mild cases of acne. However, if you are having a very severe case of acne break out, it is best to seek proper treatment as soon as possible. You may want to consider consulting a doctor if the condition is too serious.

The Elusive Acne Treatment03.29.09

leo choo asked:

Feeling frustrated after trying over countless acne medications ?Are you wondering why they never works on your acne but performs wonderfully on your friends or acquaintance acne? You might start to ask yourself what is actually wrong with yourself and ponder the reasons for your acne stubborn existence on your skin. Be patient. Don’t ever give up. There is actually a very simple method in treating your acne successfully.

We are recommending a combination of three steps to achieve an blemish-free skin.

Start off your treatment with a gentle cleanser.Don’ be bother if it doesn’t lather much. The ingredient that causes the foams is actually bad for your skin.It might provoke your acne lesions and cause more new lesions to form. What you want to achieve here is to remove dirt from your skin before applying the acne medications.

Topical treatment containing benzoyl peroxide is the most effective acne treatment that is available in the market. It kills the P. acnes bacteria that causes your acne lesions. By enriching the pores with oxygen, the P.acnes bacteria that stay at the base of the follicle get kill off. Plus the fact that even with continuous usage, the P.acnes bacteria won’t become resistant to it. That is why it is used in combination with various oral antibiotics to treat acne. As oral antibiotics can become resistant after prolonged usage, the medication containing benzoyl peroxide provides a good companion in minimising the resistance of the acne causing bacteria toward the acne treatments.

Most acne treatments fail in that acne sufferers often give up too soon and put too much of acne medications to their skin. You have to do it gradually.Do you know that your skin can adapt to the drying effect of benzoyl peroxide but it takes time.By now,you should have heard of the side effect of benzoyl peroxide which is its strong drying effecting on your skin. So select the lowest concentration of benzoyl peroxide n (2.5%) available in the market to minimize the drying and irritation it is going to cause on your skin.

We would like to ask you how long did you continue to try a new acne treatment before giving in? One week? Two weeks? Actually you should continue the usage for about a month before you can expect any significant results. Most people just give up too early. Initially, you might get a lot of new lesion breakouts which make you give up earlier. If you have many comedones (blackheads and whiteheads), using treatment containing benzoyl peroxide will drive the comedone contents consisting of dead skin cells, dead bacteria and sebum to the skin surface.Unless you belong to the 10% of the acne sufferers who are allergic to benzoyl peroxide, you should give yourself a try again at benzoyl peroxide.

The next question is how much of the medication should you put.Just apply a thin coating of the acne medication covering your acne prone skin. Do not rub the medications on your skin. A gentle sweeping motion will do as you wouldn’t want to irritate your skin to giving you more acne flare.

Benzoyl peroxide can come in gel, lotion, cream or ointment. It is best to use the gel type if you have oily skin. For people with dry skin,go for the cream. If you still find benzoyl peroxide is too strong for your skin, go for the cleanser.Even though the cleanser cream only stay on your skin for minutes,it is sufficient to kill off those acne prone bacteria. If you have sensitive skin which are easily irritated, first go for the benzoyl peroxide cleanser. See how is your skin react to it before switching to another products.

Another way to minimize the drying effects of benzoyl peroxide is followed by an application of moisturizer after the benzoyl peroxide medications.Use a moisturizer with SPF 15 or more during the day time while at night choose a more creamier moisturizer .A higher SPF rating only offer a slightly higher protection from the UVB from the sunray but can cause premature aging. So it is sufficient to use a SPF rating of 15.

As your skin can adapt to the drying of benzoyl peroxide, you should also adjust the frequency and quantity of usage in response to your skin reaction. We feel that applying benzoyl peroxide for twice a day is sufficient. In a nutshell, you can see that if you have mild to moderate acne, benzoyl peroxide will work provided that you adjust your frequency and quantity of treatment as you progress in using the treatments. Don’t let impatience fails you in treating your acne problems.

The Alternative Way to Cure Acne01.29.09

Tommy W. Hang asked:

Do Alternative Remedies for Acne Work? Type of treatment that some people find effective, so it’s worth knowing about. The treatments I’m talking about are called alternative acne treatments.

There are a variety of ways to get rid of acne that are homeopathic or natural and do not require a prescription from a dermatologist. These remedies can be used in conjunction with prescribed methods. For those who are seeking healthy and natural methods for getting rid of acne, homeopathic remedies are a viable option.

There are many treatment methods available to treat this condition, ranging from traditional medicines to acne alternative treatments that have been formulated from natural sources.

The basics for acne alternative treatments and prevention advice are:

1.Herbal Acne Remedies

Alternative medicine has come up with many solutions for acne and most of these are herbal solutions.

It’s common knowledge that the liver is the primary internal organ that clears up any troubles we may have with our hormones. If our hormones get out of equilibrium the end result is a bad case of acne.

Why Some Herbal Acne Treatments Actually Work For Acne?

The herbal blend strengthened and improved liver function; there by purifying the blood and helping to balance hormones.

It is your liver that deactivates and clears excess and used hormones from body system. And it’s also your liver’s that purifies your blood of the congesting toxins that aggravate acne so very much.

Even though they can be effective, one of the problems with herbal remedies is that they are very slow acting. While the results may be worth waiting for, it may take an entire month of consistent use before results are visible. Meanwhile, herbal acne treatments proved to be very powerful for acne sufferers, but for the short-term.

Remember that some herbal remedies have never been studied, and tested for safety and effectiveness as acne alternative treatments.

How Herbs Work in Body System?

All herbs work one of two ways or a combination of these two ways

The herb carries with it vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients and a less understood “life force”. These aspects support the body nutritionally. Generally, these kinds of herbs are safe to be taken long-term. But should only be taken seasonally.

The herb has chemical components that actually throws the body out of balance. Depending on these chemical components different body systems are thrown out of balance. These herbs work short-term, and are damaging to the body system if taken in long-term. Please understand herbal acne treatments that temporarily throw your body out of balance are not a bad thing. That’s why they work. But they should never be taken long-term and will actually stop working very quickly if you do.

2. Homeopathic Remedies

The objects of homeopathic remedies for acne is to improve the skins resistance to infection. Most issues can be solved through a healthy diet and good hygiene.

Homeopathy refers to a system for treating disease based on the administration of minute doses of a drug. In massive doses, the drug is expected to produce symptoms in healthy individuals similar to those of the disease itself. Homeopathic professionals evaluate the individual (their physical, emotional and intellectual makeup) before prescribing a treatment. While homeopathy has not had the benefit of many scientific studies, professional homeopaths have found that certain homeopathic treatments reduce certain symptoms of acne.

Homeopathic remedies for acne can include medicine or nutrients that regulate hormone levels, as changing hormone levels are by far the leading cause of acne. Men and women experience the same results from changing hormonal levels even thought the amounts of each hormone are dramatically different. Homeopathic acne treatment is most often needed in the teenage years. Older people can also develop pimples, but are advised to immediately see a physician if a severe outbreak occurs.

3.Diet Remedies

There is saying “you are what you eat”

One of the simplest alternative acne treatments is to simply change your diet. Some people have had great success in reducing their acne by eating more fruit and vegetables, and less processed foods. This keeps you much healthier, and will improve your skin.

Food and nutrition is the most important factor in alternative therapy. Fat and chocolates were blamed as the basic reason for the outbreak of acne while fast foods high in grease content as well as chips, chocolate and soft drinks can cause higher episodes of acne even in an adult. Vitamins such as A, E, B, and C are also important for the skin texture and tone, also seem to be important and juice therapists advice to have fresh juice, to a reduce acne problems.

What you eat can affect your acne breakouts. It’s no doubt that good nutrition is an important factor in getting rid of your acne once and for all. Yet many people who suffer from acne don’t actually know how they can improve their diet, which will in turn improve their skin. They don’t know which types of food helps, or doesn’t help.

So eating healthier foods will help keep your skin cleaner. But that isn’t to say you can’t ever eat the fatty foods, or the carbohydrates like rice and pasta. Although these things can take longer for your body to process, which means there are more toxins in your body system, it’s fine in moderation. A few other foods to avoid are foods that contain a lot of sugar or a lot of yeast. Again, these are fine in moderation, but if you eat these foods too often, it can make your nutrition unbalanced

Another help to diets, is the addition of adequate amounts of water consumption to anyone’s diet. Why? Because water helps to flush out the poison Substances in your body system which would otherwise seek an outlet through your skin.

By drinking more water, you can keep your body clear of toxin build-up. And this will help keep your skin healthier. Drinking at least 8 to 10 glasses of water a day can be one of the acne natural treatments that can begin to detoxify the pores and skin.

Anyone looking for treatment can look online to find more suggestions and can read testimonials from those who have had success with home remedies. No one acne home treatment will work for everyone, so finding the right combination of ingredients or procedures could take time. Getting a program that fits the person’s routine and helps prevent further problems may take time and experimentation, but the results will be worth the time invested.

Keep in mind that those acne solutions that work for one person will probably not work for the next person. What worked for your mother, brother, or best friend may or may not work for you.

How to Tackle Acne Successfully01.28.09

nunuram asked:

We all keep hearing about “acne” especially from women but do not really know about it. Let us find out what this condition actually is. Acne is a disease of the skin that affects  the hair and oil glands. It manifests itself in the form of pimples, black and white heads, reddishness of the skin and  even cysts. Acne on the face adversely affects your looks whereas acne on the body makes  you very uncomfortable. Some people tend not to give importance to acne or its cure/treatment and consider it only as a minor problem. But ask anybody suffering from acne and see how strongly he/she disagrees with this view. Therefore, the importance of ‘Acne skin care’ cannot be belittled in any way. Those already suffering from acne should never try to touch them or squeeze them; it can lead to permanent scars.

Acne problems mostly occur during teenage and early adulthood. At this time the skin glands are most active and they produce more sebum or oil which is the root cause of this problem. This is also the time when a person is particularly conscious about his/her looks and hence the concern especially about facial acne. Hence, preventive measures of skin care should really be taken without waiting for the problem to start, i.e. before the acne actually appears. You have to be pro-active and the following care of your skin may be helpful:

‘Acne skin care’ starts with the most elementary thing - cleanliness. So the morning shower is the best and easiest way of keeping the skin clean. Night showers will also help. They not only help in keeping your skin clean but also provide relaxation to your body thereby enabling good sleep in the night. If you are living in a hot /humid/ dusty place, a night shower becomes essential. In fact, a shower is recommended after any activity that causes high levels of sweat formation. It is the natural and most effective ‘acne skin care’ technique.

Acne skin care also involves wearing clean clothes. Tight clothes can cause sweat to accumulate quickly; so soft, sweat absorbing and comfortable clothes are recommended. Cotton clothes are ideal in this regard. You must also always use clean pillows. And also ensure regular cleaning of your make-up brush and any equipment that you use on your body.

You should use a cleanser that must be water-soluble, and without oil and soap for keeping your whole face, front of your neck and arms clean. Above all, it must be mild. The most important part of any acne skin care routine is of course cleaning and cleansing. Cleaners are necessary for removing dirt, pollutants, grease and excess oil from your skin. You should remove your make up with a make up remover, and this should invariably be done before you go to bed .

There are many acne skin care products available which can be classified into 3 broad categories –

* General acne skin care products which are essentially preventive,

* Specialized acne skin care products available over-the-counter,

* Acne skin care products for which prescription is required.

 Now let us examine them.

The general acne preventive skin care products include cleansers, make-up removers and similar other products that help prevent acne. Actually speaking, these acne skin care products should be part of your daily routine. These acne skin care products act against the causes of acne viz. limiting the production of sebum/oil, preventing clogging of skin pores, cleaning the skin surface, etc. Actually, these products prevent the oil from getting trapped in pores and hence restrict the growth of acne causing bacteria. The general acne skin care products include exfoliation products also like skin peels which help in removing dead skin cells, again reducing the possibility of pore-clogging and bacteria development.

Then there are specialized acne skin care products that are available over-the-counter but without the requirement of a prescription.

For example, vanishing creams which extract the extra oil from the skin. These acne skin care products are mostly based on benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid; both are enemies of bacteria (and hence acne). Start with a product that has lower concentration of benzoyl peroxide (e.g. 5%) and observe how your skin responds to it. Alpha-hydroxy-acid based moisturizers are also well-known as acne skin care products. You may have to try out several products. This is a trial and error method. Each individual’s skin is different. The same product may be very effective for one person but totally ineffective or even harmful for another. So it may take some effort and time before you are able to zero-in on the acne skin care product that is effective for you.

Then there are the acne skin care products prescribed by a dermatologist. These include ointments that can be applied on the affected area or oral antibiotics or just any topical treatment. Dermatologist could also suggest a minor surgical procedure to remove the contents of the pustules. But never ever try to squeeze or do this by yourself, it can lead to permanent scars on your skin. Your doctor could also prescribe a hormone-based treatment since hormonal changes are also known to cause acne. If your problem is due to hormones, then this treatment will be very effective.

All these methods will help you in controlling the problem of acne. But there is another simpler method.Chronic Acne Sufferer Finds A Scientifically Proven Way To Permanently Clear Skin In Just Three Days, And Finally Reveals The Unbelievably Easy, Step-By-Step Actions You Could Already Be Taking To Look Better, Feel Better, And Have A Renewed Sense of Self-Esteem!For details, please go to:  http://nunus-behealthy.ucoz.com

An Overview of Acne Treatment12.19.08

Susan Moro asked:

Acne is very common amongst teenagers. People use numerous acne treatments like herbal, homeopathic, antibiotic medicines, lotions, homemade medicines etc. Everyone uses some different treatment for acne. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. There are a lot of misconceptions about acne and its treatment. There are different stages of acne and each stage requires different types of treatment.

If you are using some treatment for acne whether it be herbal or some homemade remedy and you don’t see any progress in the treatment then you should immediately see a dermatologist. One thing should be kept in mind that acne treatment is not often a one day process. It can take a long time to cure, sometimes even a few weeks to show some initial improvement. Sometimes a dermatologist can suggest some vitamins along with acne treatment to help get better results. Remember that all types of acne are curable so do not worry at all.

The initial stage of acne is very mild and it can be treated with any mild acne face wash along with some over the counter medicine like benzyl peroxide. These types of medicine kill bacteria and help to prevent acne. Proper skin care is very essential in acne treatment. Acne can appear on different parts of the body like arms, neck, back and shoulders. Facial acne is most easy and convenient to treat as compared to other parts of the body.

If acne covers half of your face then you are suffering from moderate acne. At this stage you should consult a dermatologist immediately in order to avoid acne from further spreading. Acne is very depressing for youngsters as they can lose their self confidence and they stop feeling good about their physical appearance. If acne is not treated at this stage than there are chances that acne will leave scars on your skin. At this stage a dermatologist can suggest more than one type of treatments like extraction, light therapy, topical creams etc. in accordance with the acne condition.

The last stage of acne is very depressing for the patients as their pimples and zits increase tremendously. Sometimes pus filled pimples might appear on the skin. At this stage skin is intensively damaged. Dermatologists will use very rigorous treatment during this stage due to the fact that acne has penetrated deep into the skin. Antibiotics are used in this stage to prevent permanent scarring and other treatments like drainage techniques and surgical incision can also be used depending on the severity of the acne.

It is important that you get all the information required during your acne treatment. Acne should be treated at initial stages. You should not wait for the acne to get worse and then contact the doctor. This delay can sometimes cause permanent scars on your skin. Don’t do experiments with your skin as they can damage your skin for the lifetime.

Break Free From Acne Breakouts: Zinc’s Role in Acne Treatment10.22.08

Mitamins Team asked:

Acne vulgaris, also known as common acne, is a problem that affects the lives of many teenagers (as well as adults).Pimples and breakouts can persist into adulthood , as if teenage acne is not embarrassment enough. People are always on the search for a treatment of acne that will ensure control and decrease breakouts. For many people, controlling acne(http://www.mitamins.com/disease/Acne.html) is a constant process because most of the time, treatment is only a momentary reprieve from the symptoms. This is the reason that the most effective treatments of acne are ones that wipe out pimples as well as maintain optimal health for the body, so that the rate of future breakouts is low. Taking acne medication for one’s lifetime is rather excessive for most people, It is for this reason that a lot of people are looking for alternatives to antibiotics in the form of zinc supplements. However, the question remains- Does zinc work?

Acne Control and Zinc

Acne and other skin problems are due to zinc deficiencies, according to several studies. Bacterial infections in the skin play an important role in acne, particularly among adults. Zinc is known for its infection-fighting properties, and seems to be useful in the treatment of acne.

Zinc oxide has been used to cure diaper rash for years. Zinc is known for its skin-soothing and healing properties as well. Studies have proved that zinc is beneficial in the treatment of acne, and is very effective-as effective in tetracycline in some cases. It is commonly recommended to take cheated zinc in a dosage of between 60 and 90mg a day for acne treatment(http://www.mitamins.com/disease/Acne.html). Zinc is a naturally - occurring mineral which is a kind of essential element for the body’s function. Thus, it is more effective in the long run to use zinc rather than antibiotics in long-term acne treatment.

Other Tips for Acne Skin Care

When sebum, bacteria or dead skin cells get trapped in clogged pores, whiteheads happen. The blemish takes on a white appearance on its surface, and should be squeezed to treat. If the pore is not entirely blocked, then the trapped sebum, bacteria or dead cells find access to the skin’s surface. When melanin in the skin reacts with oxygen in the air, the blemish has a black appearance. It can take quite a while to clear up blackheads, and treatment for them may involve a long period of time. Cysts are categorized by pus-filled blemishes that are 5mm or more across in size. These are painful and can lead to scars if not treated properly. If you squeeze cysts, they will just get worse. Nodules can result in scarring if squeezed and can be painful to boot. Getting treatment for acne treatment from a dermatologist is ideal. Pustules are similar to whiteheads but they are more serious and become inflamed. Remember not to squeeze them, however tempted you may be to perform your own acne treatment(http://www.mitamins.com/disease/Acne.html), because this could result in scarring. Pimples are inflamed red bumps. The best preventative treatment for acne involves keeping your hands off those zits!

The Ultimate 5 Steps to Follow if You Just Have to Squeeze Your Pimples09.15.08

Lee Chin asked:

It doesn’t matter whether you call them pimples, zits or acne. End of the day, we all just can’t stand their sight and can’t wait to burst them. Often, common advice is to let your body heal them the natural way. However if you just have to get rid of your pimples, follow the exact 5 important steps below to avoid skin damage and permanent scarring. This is applicable to pimples or acne on every body parts.

Just a word of caution, reserve this technique for that occasional pimple that just pops up on you (all the way at the surface and white). Should you have a situation that is more severe, seek help from professionals or you can refer to my website here for more information.

The 5 Ultimate Steps that you must follow are:

Step 1: Get your pores open

The best time is after a hot shower. When I say hot, I don’t mean scorching hot. Body temperature water heat will do just fine. The skin tends to be more supple and it is easier to squeeze your pimples with clogged pores wide open.

If your pimple is on your face, you may opt to steam your face instead. It is for the same purpose as above to loosen debris that may be imbedded into your skin. Take a bowl of hot water and place your face just above it. Let the steam rise to your skin for about 10-15 minutes and then wipe off excessive sweat from the heat.

Alternate way is to hold a warm washcloth on to your face for 5-10 minutes. This is more effective only if you have to get rid of pimple that is just one or two.

Step 2: Use gauze pads

Ensure hands are well-cleaned. Take the gauze pads and wrap around your index fingers of both hands and prepare for the next step.

Some of you are probably being told to squeeze or pop pimples with needle. It is only advisable if you strictly know how to disinfect the needle. Or else you will risk causing the pimple zone to be worse.

Step 3: Squeezing time

Squeeze the pimple only if it is ready. Determine by seeing if there is a pus-filled center. If your skin feels hurt after squeezing and yet nothing comes out, please leave it be for a few more days. You don’t want to have permanently scarring.

Holding the gauze pads on both index fingers (Step 2), gently but confidently squeeze the pimple from the sides. Use a downward and inward motion. Repeat until the pus is completely gone.

Never to use your fingernails at all times to prevent an open hole and scar to form on your skin.

Step 4: Wash your face

Since the pores are still open, washing your face thoroughly with an antibacterial cleanser helps to clear bacteria around it. It is advisable to do a facial mask after the squeeze. It will cleanse and remove the excessive oil plus helping to shrink enlarged pores.

Any kind of mask is good. But clay or mug masks work best for the tightening of pores.

Step 5: Healing process
